WEDDING BOOKING POLICY
Wedding Party Booking & Cancellations
Due to the popularity of our beauty services for Destination Weddings in the Virgin Islands we suggest booking appointments at least 2-4 months in advance of your wedding date.
Wedding bookings have a three week (21 day) cancellation policy and apply to each individual service that is booked. In the event of a cancellation three weeks (21 days) or less prior to your event there is a $25.00 service fee that applies to each individual service that is cancelled without notice.
If you need to cancel your appointment please do so in writing via email. Email firstname.lastname@example.org at least three weeks (21 days) in advance. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation any cancellations within the three week period will incur the cancellation fee.
Cancelling with Less Than 24 Hours Notice
Cancelling with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 100% charge on your credit card of the total amount of services that are booked. No-shows will also result in full charges on your credit card. We regret that we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy because we are a luxury appointment-based business and we often schedule artists and stylists especially for you.
Making additions to your booking is simple. You can email email@example.com to make any additions to your booking. Adding additional services to your booking are subject to availability. We suggest finalizing your wedding party services a minimum of 1 month before your wedding date.
On-Location Stylist Arrivals
When booking nomadic/ on-site services, please note that your stylist will arrive 5-15 minutes early for your booking. This will give our artists time to set up prior to your appointment time. Note: each appointment is time sensitive and each session will be finished on time as a courtesy to you and the next client. There is a two (2) service minimum for on-site services in St. Thomas. There is a four (4) service minimum for services on St. John. In salon and on-site pricing is the same. However, there is a 20% gratuity placed on all on-location bookings.
We certainly travel to all the Virgin Islands for wedding services. There is no travel fee for bookings on St. Thomas! The travel fee to St. John is $75.00 for round trip travel for up to (2) stylists. Each additional stylist is $60.00.
St. Croix travel is subject to cost of round trip seaplane and taxi fare to your specified location. Please inquire at time of booking and more information and pricing can be provided.
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and cash for payments. For bridal parties (over 4 services) we do not split checks or take individual payments. We accept up to (2) credit cards for full payment of the balance, or (1) lump sum of cash for large party balances. This helps to eliminate miscalculations, under or overpayment. *In salon bridal parties of 5 or more incur a 20% automatic gratuity.
VIP Bookings with Appointment Times Before/After Business Hours
The Glam Squad of Sugar and Spice will come to your location at practically any hour to pamper and beautify you! Our normal business hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am- 6:00pm. However we do provide special time requests for sunrise/sunset brides, photo shoots and tv/film productions. Bookings that have a scheduled appointment time before 9:00am or after 5:30pm will incur a VIP booking fee of $35.00 per stylist booked. We do not offer bookings before 6:30am.
We certainly provide bridal and event services based on availability on holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Day. There is a $100.00 Holiday charge per stylist for events booked on Major Holidays.
Booking Online Appointments
Our convenient online “contact us” form is a reservation system that allows you to inquire about booking an appointment instantly, day or night. When inquiring online you will be asked to provide a valid credit card number to confirm your wedding reservation. Please note that we do not charge your card but it is held in lieu of any cancellation charges or past due balances.
SALON BOOKING POLICY
Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will ensure that we have enough time to check you in, offer you refreshments and have you sign or read any necessary forms.
When booking by phone you will be asked to provide a valid credit card number to hold any bookings with service times over 30 minutes. Upon completion you’ll be able to pay for your services with your choice of cash, Visa/MasterCard. Unfortunately, we do not accept cheques or American Express.
Appointment Reminder By Phone
Please let us know if you need help remembering your appointment. We now offer appointment reminders by phone on your cell phone 24 hours in advance. If you opt to receive a text message, please check to make sure you are subscribed to receive email to cell phone communications.
We understand that life happens and you may not always be able to make your scheduled salon appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours notice will be charged a last minute cancelation fee of 25.00 per service. This fee can be applied to your next booking if made within one week from original date. No call/ no show clients will be charged 50% of the service booked.
